The catalogue shapes the build.
Physical products, digital goods, subscriptions and made-to-order items create different requirements. We start with the catalogue and the people maintaining it: variants, availability, images, prices and the information a buyer needs.
A custom storefront can sit on an established commerce backend. Rebuilding product administration, payment handling and order management is only justified when an existing platform cannot support the workflow.
A payment is a sequence of states.
The buyer can close a tab, retry a payment or return before a confirmation arrives. We specify the order lifecycle so a redirect is not mistaken for a completed payment and a repeated event does not create another order.
Your store's payment options are separate from how you pay BRÈCHE. We accept crypto for development work. Customer checkout can use the providers agreed in your project scope, subject to their availability and requirements.
After checkout, the store still has to work.
Order changes, refunds, stock conflicts and support access need a defined owner. We document which system controls the data and what staff can do when an integration is unavailable.
Before launch, the agreed buying journeys are exercised in the provider's test environment. Handover covers configuration, order operations and recurring service costs, alongside the custom source code.
A few things to know.
Do you build everything from scratch?
Only where the requirements justify it. An established commerce backend with a custom storefront may be more practical than rebuilding the entire store.
Does my store have to accept crypto?
No. BRÈCHE's crypto-only payment policy applies to our development invoices. Your store's checkout is scoped around your customers and the payment providers available to your business.
Can you connect our inventory system?
We can assess the integration once we know its API, access requirements and data model. The scope must account for stock conflicts, retries and who resolves failed updates.
